I'm back...again!



Hello everybody!

It’s been a while so I wanted to explain why I haven’t been on here.

When I started blogging I had so many plans for the blog but somehow it ended up going in a direction I wasn’t quite happy with, and on top of that I was having some family problems that made me very anxious again.

Of course if you’re new to the blog you don’t know anything about my family or the problems I have overcome in my life, if you want to know a bit more feel free to check other posts.

As for the new problems, I can’t talk much about them since they involve my little sister and I want to respect her privacy; but let’s just say it’s been really hard.

But things have been going great lately so I decided it was time to blog again.

I want to make my blog more personal as well as writing the kind of posts my “old” readers are used to.

I hope you all have had a great time all the time I’ve been gone and welcome me with open arms haha.

How To Deal With Criticism.



This is so out of the blue to all of you it’s still something us bloggers need to read/hear once in a while.

I’m an avid YouTube consumer and I follow a lot of YouTubers, most of them beauty related. I’m like everyone else, I have people I like more and people I like less.

Recently I stumbled upon a website that has a “trash a guru” and an “abhorred bloggers” section and I read a few threads.

What I Eat in a Day

Today I have a post quite different from all of my other posts and I couldn't be happier, hopefully you like it!
My friend Jasmine from Color U Bold joined me in this to kick start my Healthy February, check her version of this article here!

DISCLAIMER: I’m not a nutritionist so don’t follow this as a diet, it’s just for fun and to try something different. If you think I don’t eat enough carbohydrates or things you could find in a “normal” diet, that’s because I have hypothyroidism and there are a lot of things I have to stay away from. 

So let’s get started!

First thing in the morning I have a large glass of lemon water, unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of it but I do have a post on the benefits of lemon water!

My breakfast this day consisted of a piece of toast with banana. You’re going to see bananas a lot since it’s my favorite fruit!


For lunch I had a salad and a small bowl of white rice with garlic. 


 
Snack!! I love snacking and what better way to do so than with a plate of fresh fruit? Did anyone say banana?




It’s time for dinner! In Spain we have a different “schedule” than in the US or England, our dinner tends to be really late at night, but for me, I have it very early since I like to eat 1 or 2 hours before going to bed.
My dinner this day consisted of a zucchini soup and a large glass of lemon water (which I have with every meal).


I also forgot to mention I’m vegan so that’s why meat is nowhere to be found!

Valentine's Day Gifts for Her

I know you might think it's a little soon for the gift lists for V-Day, but I love holiday's, I just get soo excited for Valentine's Day, Christmas, Halloween... And I like to be prepared so I start buying gifts really soon, I think it's also the best way to save money. I'm already buying my Christmas gifts so I don't spend a lot of money at once by the end of the year.
